Monthly CARA meeting will be on Tuesday, August 22 at 7:30 PM in-person-only at APL. The topic will be Grounding and Bonding. A proper grounding system is vital for the safety of your ham shack. It also is important for suppressing or eliminating stray RF in your shack that can cause improper equipment operation or even failures. The third function of a good ground system is to help provide lightning suppression. This meeting will cover the theory and implementation of a proper grounding system.

This will be an in-person-only meeting, so be sure to attend.

Directions:

CARA's monthly membership meetings are open to all! The in-person meeting is in the Applied Physics Lab Building 1 Cafeteria, 11100 Johns Hopkins Rd, Laurel, MD 20723. From Rt. 29 go west on Johns Hopkins Road. At the second light turn right onto APL drive, proceed to the end and park on the left. From the Bldg 1 lobby, turn right at the guard desk to enter the cafeteria and proceed to the far end.
