Benefits of being a CARA member include:

A large group of knowledgeable and friendly people willing to help you with your radio communication questions
Lending library of reference books and other resources related to amateur radio available to CARA members
Selected radio and test equipment for loan to CARA members for temporary use
Full members whose dues and paid in full, and Life members (as designated by the Board of Directors per the CARA bylaws) may vote in the annual elections for the CARA Board of Directors

Dues Payments

CARA membership payments are due on January 1st of each year. Dues for new members who join between 1 October and 31 December will be be considered paid for the remainder of the current year as well as the next dues year.

To join, complete the membership application and pay online. You may also mail a check, or pay by check/cash given to the Treasurer at a CARA meeting.
