  • Summer Field Day 2024

    CARA will operate as K3CUJ from River Hill High School in Clarksville, MD for Field Day 2024. The event runs from 2pm on Saturday 22 June to 2pm on Sunday 23 June.

    Coaches are available from 2-7pm on Saturday and 10am-2pm on Sunday to help people get on the air and make their first HF contacts. Licensed hams are also welcome to operate a station on their own with prior coordination; please contact ks3o at columbiaara.org to schedule.

    Join us at 5:30pm on Saturday for a cookout. CARA will provide hot dogs and drinks, and visitors are encouraged to bring something to share.

    Help for pre-setup on Friday, setup on Saturday morning, and for breakdown on Sunday is much appreciated!
